When you get your Raildriver, the stickers PI Engineering gives you to apply to the different controls tend to wear out after a while. It's a very helpful resource.Īnother thing to remember about using Raildriver with RUN 8 is Raildriver is native to the RUN 8 software meaning, everything from setting up Raildriver to calibrating Raildriver is done within RUN 8, no external software is needed to use Raildriver with RUN 8 which in my opinion makes things much easier. Don't be concerned with not doing The Depot servers as many people here do only single player and ask and answer questions. The best thing to do is just start using your Raildriver and you'll get a feel for how you like things to be.
There are just somethings your better off using the keyboard for in conjunction with the Raildriver that are simply easier to do using the keyboard versus using Raildriver.Īnother thing to keep in mind with Raildriver is that everyone has their own preferences on how to set up the Raildriver and how to use it so there is no one set answer to alll your questions. Now I used the keyboard exclusively for a very long time which is something I highly recommend as Raildriver does most everything but not all. It adds a trulistic feel to the experience of rolling down the rails with a long, heavy train.
